The Bombay High Court has lifted the restriction on Cognizant Technology Solutions US from using a trademark logo in India for being allegedly similar to that of Atyati Technologies Pvt Ltd, till the case is decided. This came as a big relief to the US information technology major which was facing a copyright infringement suit by Atyati Technologies. On Mar 19, the high court in an ex-parte interim order, had prevented Cognizant from using the logo until the next hearing.
