Life Insurance Corporation of India net profit for Jan-Mar rose to INR 190.13 billion from INR 137.63 billion a year ago. The insurer's net premium income for the quarter was INR 1.476 trillion against INR 1.523 tln a year ago. The company will pay a final dividend of INR 12 per share for 2024-25 (Apr-Mar). The net profit for FY25 rose to INR 481.51 billion from INR 406.76 billion a year ago and net premium income rose to INR 4.881 trillion from INR 4.751 trillion year ago. Its solvency ratio was at 2.11 times as of Mar. 31 against 1.98 times year ago.
