--RBI: Jan FDI inflows $6.18 bln vs $6.51 bln Dec, $8.95 bln yr ago
MUMBAI – Gross foreign direct investments into India were at $6.18 bln in January, down from $8.95 bln a year ago, data released by the Reserve Bank of India today showed.
In December, FDI inflows were at $6.51 bln.
On a cumulative basis, FDIs in Apr-Jan fell to $61.45 bln from $70.50 bln in the year-ago period.
Total FDI inflows include equity capital, reinvested earnings, and other capital. End
