India's crude oil import bill for the first six months of 2024-25 (Apr-Mar) rose 12% on year to $71.3 billion, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said in a monthly report. In volume terms, the country's crude oil imports were at 120.5 million tonnes in Apr-Sept, compared with 115.9 million tonnes in the year-ago period, it said.
