MUMBAI – Promoter Nerka Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. bought 980,000 shares or 0.1% stake in UPL Ltd. for INR 723.05, aggregating to INR 708.59 million from promoter group member Uniphos Enterprises Ltd. through a block deal on the National Stock Exchange. As of Jun. 30, Nerka Chemicals held 21.29% stake in the company while Uniphos Enterprises held 5.05%. 

For the quarter ended June, the company reported a consolidated net loss of INR 880 million on revenues of INR 92.16 billion. Tuesday, shares of the company closed at INR 723.10 on the NSE, up marginally from the previous close.  End
