--Lupin gets Chinese health body nod for Oseltamivir Phosphate
MUMBAI – Lupin Ltd. Friday said it has received approval from China's National Medical Products Administration for its abbreviated new drug application for the influenza drug Oseltamivir Phosphate. This marks Lupin's first product entry into China, the company said in an exchange filing.
Lupin filed the abbreviated new drug application in partnership with China's Yabao Pharmaceuticals. Oseltamivir Phosphate for oral suspension will be made available for pediatric use in a concentration of 6 mg/ml.
For the March quarter, Lupin reported a consolidated net profit of INR 14.60 billion on revenues of INR 74.75 billion. Friday, the pharmaceutical company's shares closed 0.1% lower at INR 2,281.80 on the National Stock Exchange. End
