Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which operates its retail chain in India under the DMart brand, is likely to report a consolidated net profit of 7.98 bln rupees, up 21% on-year, for the June quarter led by new store additions and robust sales growth, an average of estimates of four brokerages said. The company is expected to report 18% growth in its revenue to 139.90 bln rupees, the estimates show. For Apr-Jun last year, the company reported a consolidated net profit of 6.58 bln rupees on a revenue of 118.65 bln rupees.
