Outstanding deposits by non-resident Indians rose to $165.43 billion at the end of April, up $12.42 billion from a year ago, according to provisional data released by the Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday. The outstanding NRI deposits were at $164.68 billion a month ago and $153.01 billion a year ago.
