M&M Fincl sees overall disbursements in Jul-Sept up 3% on yr to INR 135 bln

MUMBAI – Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd. Friday said its overall disbursements in Jul-Sept are expected to have risen 3% on year to INR 135.00 billion, the company said in an exchange filing. For Apr-Sept, the company's disbursements are estimated to have risen nearly 2% to INR 263 billion. In the June quater, the non-banking financial company's disbursements fell 18% sequentially but rose 1% on year to INR 128.08 billion.

 

The company's business assets are seen at INR 1.27 trillion as of Sept. 30, up around 13% from a year ago, it said. The company's collection efficiency in Jul-Sept is projected at 96%, unchanged from a year ago. In terms of asset quality, stage-3 assets are seen in the range of 3.9% to 4.0% as of Sept. 30 and stage-2 assets are seen in the range of 5.75-5.85%, it said. The company continued to enjoy a comfortable liquidity position with a liquidity chest of over INR 85.00 billion, it said.  

 

The vehicle financier reported a net profit of INR 5.30 billion in the June quarter, up 3.2% on year. At 1209 IST, shares of the company traded 0.2% lower at INR 272.90 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
