NEW DELHI – Bajaj Finance Ltd.'s assets under management rose 22% on year to INR 4.86 trillion as of Dec. 31, according to provisional figures released by the company Saturday. The non-banking finance company's assets under management grew INR 236 billion in the December quarter.
The company's new loans rose 15% on year to 13.90 million. The deposit book of the non-banking finance company rose to INR 710.00 billion as of Dec. 31 from INR 687.97 billion a year ago. Bajaj Finance's customer franchise stood at 115.40 million as of Dec. 31, up from 97.12 million a year ago.
Bajaj Finance had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 48.75 billion for the September quarter, up 22% on year. At 0945 IST, shares of the company were down 0.9% at INR 981.70 on the National Stock Exchange. End
