--Trent: Revenue for Jul-Sept at INR 57.88 billion, up 23% on year 

--Trent: Total store count Westside 1,342, Zudio 1,000 on Sept 30 

 

NEW DELHI – Trent Ltd. said Monday that its standalone revenue from operations rose 23% on year to INR 57.88 billion in the September quarter from INR 47.24 billion a year ago. The company's revenue from merchandise sales, excluding other operating income, also grew 23% on year during the quarter, the company said in an exchange filing.

 

For Apr-Sept, the company's standalone revenue rose 21% on year to INR 114.54 billion from INR 95.05 billion, while merchandise sales also increased 21%. The company opened 10 Westside and 17 Zudio stores on a net basis in the September quarter. For Apr-Sept, it added 11 Westside and 36 Zudio stores. Trent opened its 1,000th Zudio store during the quarter, taking its total portfolio to 1,342 stores across Westside, Zudio, and other lifestyle brands as of Sept. 30.

 

For the June quarter, Trent reported a net profit of INR 5.32 billion on revenues of INR 56.66 billion. Monday, the company's shares ended flat at INR 2,580 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
